B Oils currently Has an area of approx. 5 ha of its own and 15 ha of its subcontractors on which it can produce 30 tons of raw materials for the production of essential oils.
The Past
In the past period, we purchased raw materials (herbs, seeds, etc.) from local subcontractors.
The idea was to give them additional motivation and encouragement to plant and cultivate more. Moreover, because we are still not able to produce the required amount of raw material. So in this situation both sides have a great benefit. In this way where they help the local community directly by engaging their locals.
The Present
B Oils currently Has an area of approx. 5ha of its own and 15ha of its subcontractors on which it can produce 30 tons of raw materials for the production of essential oils.
This quantity can be processed in 30 working days, so B Oils doo predicted that the registration of the Association “Koviljača” to organize numerous subcontractors who would also be involved in plantation cultivation of medicinal plants for the needs of B Oils doo. With an assortment of 160 different wild plants in the area, we also plan to purchase raw materials from local plant and mushroom collectors.
The Future
Our future vision is to expand our network of subcontractors.
In this way, we will be able to meet all market demand for essential and cold-pressed oils. In the coming months, we will prepare raw materials for next season. The plan is to have at least 30 subcontractors who will plant different types of plants, so that we can offer more to the market. With the increased number of subcontractors, the amount of land that will be organically cultivated will also increase. This is crucial because we are looking for sustainable production from the first to the last step. Our customers will be able to buy a 100% organic product that comes from Bosnian fields.
